Just few words to wish you a wonderful summer!! Year 5 groups have been great! I hope you find some Science and History during your holidays and you can share it in class next school year. Don't forget to take pictures if you can...See you all in September!
We are starting our last unit in year 5. These days we will learn and work about the world through the different ages in History. We will use books, posters, magazines and everything that can give us clues about life in the past.
Feel free to bring interesting books or objects that can help us to learn about History!
Thank you very much!
These are the molecules that we studied and built in class. For those of you who have not finished them, here is the document to download.
These days we are doing experiments with mixtures, chemical reactions and matter properties. We will try to tell you all about it and show some beautiful pictures or videos...
You freeze a baloon filled with water ?
That was Laura's question in Science class. Everybody had lots of hypothesis... "It will explode!", "It will freeze but will have liquid water inside...", "You need at least 3 hours!"...
but we needed to check with experience.
Laura tried at home with two balloons. On Friday she told the rest of the class what had happened. This is the picture she took.
This blog is for parents and pupils of Tenerias School, Zaragoza.
I have created this blog to share some of the things that happen in Science lessons. Students are really interested in Science and they are such curious creatures!
They explore, question, and wonder, and by doing so, learn. They share their discoveries, thoughts and interests. Many times they will surprise you with really deep and complex thinking... And that is what I want to share here...
You can use this pages to see some of what your children are doing in Science classes.
I hope you enjoy it!
